Incoming Families and Individuals
In Highland we are currently expecting to receive around 25 to 30 families to arrive in smaller groups within 2016. There are no specific arrival dates at present but details will be held in confidence to provide families arriving privacy to recover and settle into their new environs.
Plans and preparation for housing and other facilities, including social work, education and public health, are currently underway with Highland Council and their partners.
The HTSI is inputting into this process and will be helping to co-ordinate a voluntary based support for the families.
If you want to get involved or would like to offer something please email firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us the following:
What you are offering or the skill set you have
The time you have available
Other contact information
At this time the HTSI is focusing on the co-ordination of our volunteers but please let us know if we can help you link into the wider planning process.

Have you heard of The Highlands Support Refugees?
They are collecting clothing and other items, sorting them and arranging for them to be delivered to areas of need throughout Europe. This activity is entirely voluntary.
