The Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to lead our organisation into its next phase of growth and impact. This is a pivotal role requiring a strategic leader who combines strong financial acumen with deep understanding of the third sector, particularly within commissioned health and social care services.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clear strategic leadership, ensuring delivery of our mission and long-term sustainability
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and performance, ensuring robust governance and accountability
Work closely with the Board of Trustees to shape organisational strategy and ensure regulatory compliance
Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of inclusion, innovation, and impact
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including funders, commissioners, partners, and service users
Identify and secure funding opportunities to ensure financial resilience and growth
About You
We are looking for a dynamic and purpose-driven leader who can bring:
Strong financial expertise, including experience managing budgets, financial strategy, and organisational risk
Extensive knowledge of the third sector, with a particular understanding of mental health services and challenges
Proven experience in a senior leadership role, ideally within a charity, social enterprise, or public sector organisation
A track record of delivering sustainable growth, income diversification, and organisational impact
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
A deep commitment to improving mental health and wellbeing
