Highland Third Sector Interface supports the development of a strong third sector in Highland by supporting our members through a variety of ways, which include:
As a social café, Café 1668 hosts a safe place for vulnerable people to get a meal. The Café has a food larder, and works alongside the Community Justice Partnership creating a safe place for those within the criminal justice environment.
This project engages with people who are taken into Police custody. Using a wide range of contacts with services across Highland they support and help them to identify actions, access support to reduce the risks of reoffending, enhance their quality of life in the future.
The project covers rural Highland, supporting existing health walk groups and creating new opportunities for walking in communities, promoting increased physical activity to improve wellbeing and quality of life.
