Members of HTSI are made up of Third Sector organisations across Highland.
By joining HTSI organisations will benefit from the communications we provide, forums, and other resources.

Membership to HTSI
We value our members as a vital part of the governance and accountability of our organisation. As a member you will receive discounts to HTSI events, regular newsletters and opportunities to engage with the development of the Third Sector in Highlands. Best of all, our membership is free for eligible groups and individuals - so that no matter what your financial resource, you can enjoy HTSI Membership!
The TSI in Highland ensures local service delivery through our Partner Organisations with whom third sector groups can enjoy membership and enhanced member services separately from membership to HTSI.
Types of Membership
Full member: Organisation
Available to any Third Sector Organisation in Highland.
Full Member: Individual
Any individual who isn't an employee or board member of a member organisation that can identify their strong link to the third sector in Highland
Partner
Any group, individual, public body or other non-third sector entity based in Highland that works with the third sector.
Associate member
Any third sector organisation that works outside of Highland.
What happens once you have signed up?
After your membership request has been approved you will be added to our emailing list, this will mean you will start receiving regular communications from us including bulletins and event invitations.

Third Sector defined
The Third Sector is made up of community groups, voluntary organisations, charities, social enterprises, co-operatives and individual volunteers (wherever they volunteer). An organisation is regarded as being in the third sector if it:

has a positive community purpose

is run by an unpaid (or mostly unpaid) committee

is not principally set up to distribute profit to shareholders
-
is not run by or affiliated to a political party or a government body
Membership Approvals
Final approval of membership request are considered at our scheduled Board Meetings.
