Centred Charity Shop, Invergordon – Beth MacDonald

Beth worked for over 25 year as a Mental Health Nurse before retiring. She is still passionate about mental health, which made her decide to volunteer with Centred. 

Beth has enjoyed meeting people that visit the shop, there are regulars that come in for a chat and share how they are feeling with Beth. There are a lot of over sees visitors that come in during summer, which makes it fun, especially the Americans who are quite chatty. 

However the most important aspect of volunteering for Beth is the craic that she gets with her colleagues and in particular Karen her Manager. It makes a big difference to her day to spend time with people who make her laugh and enjoy what she does.
