The Volunteer Council

The purpose of the Volunteer Council is to inform the development of the Volunteer Academy, our guidance, programmes and to support the vetting of research and promotional activity. Our Volunteer Council will meet virtually and can provide guidance, real life experience, challenge and scrutinise the activities of the Volunteer Academy. The Council will meet quarterly and receive updates on Volunteer Academy work such as options for additional activity such as promotional work and research proposal selection.

The Council will be no more than 12 people at any given time with a term limit of three years and a minimum commitment of 1 year. Members must be over the age of 16 but we are keen to ensure a range of experience, age and culture on the Council.

If you would like to apply to be on the Council, please submit the below form. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us at volunteering@highlandtsi.org.uk
