Youth Volunteering
Youth volunteering is more than just giving back, it is about growth, discovery and making a lasting impact. When a young person steps forward to support their community, they gain invaluable skills, confidence and connections that shape their future. Whether it is developing leadership skills, boosting mental well-being or building friendships, volunteering offers a unique opportunity to try something new and learn by doing.

Saltire Ambassadors
For volunteers who have successfully achieved the Saltire Awards ‘Ascent’, this is the opportunity to become Saltire Ambassadors. Ambassadors champion and represent youth volunteering at a local level. This means that they promote the awards, inspire other young people to get involved and participate in decision making as a Summit panel judge.
