Meet The Team

What’s your name?

Courtney

What is your role at HTSI Volunteer Academy?

My main role at HTSI is a Development Officer (Digital and Comms), as part of my work for the VA I created the new web pages and layout.

Have you volunteered in the past?

Yes, I did some volunteering in S6 as a paired reader and as a buddy, I also volunteered in a local charity shop to gain retail experience.

What do you like doing for fun?

I like going to gigs, travelling, and crocheting. I used to play the trumpet in some local music groups in Highland, East Highland Concert Band and the Highland Schools Wind Band.  I have got back into reading again, I love twisty books! Currently, I am reading the Silo series.

Do you have any pets?

Not of my own but have two family doggies. They are Jack Russell Terriers, Nora and Rusty 🐶

If you could have one super power for the day, what would it be?

I would like to be able to time travel.
