Role Description

Black Isle Cares provides support to people experiencing loneliness and social isolation in the Black Isle area (North Kessock, Munlochy, Culbokie, Resolis, Cromarty, Rosemarkie, Fortrose and Avoch). We offer a range of roles within our volunteer team, including Befriending, Meals Delivery, Community Garden, Community Larder, Group Activities and General Tasks (eg providing lifts, picking up shopping, doing simple DIY tasks). Befriending and Meals Delivery volunteering usually involves a commitment of around an hour a week but our more general roles can be very flexible, depending on the volunteer's circumstances and the needs of clients. Volunteering with Black Isle Cares is an ideal way of supporting your local community and helping those in need of some extra support. More detailed information about our Volunteer Roles is in the document attached. You can also contact Karin (07548 343375) or Elaine (07720 168266) or email admin@blackislecares.com for a chat about joining our team!
