Role Description

We are looking to recruit Volunteer Drivers, who would use their own car to transport people in Fort William and the Surrounding areas which include; Glencoe, Kinlochleven, Ballachulish, Onich, Spean Bridge and Roy Bridge. We take clients to and from Medical appointments, Shopping, Hair appointments and Social Groups or just to visit a friend. We pay expenses which amount to 45p per mile. The Volunteers are also paid what we call "dead" miles. So they would be paid 45p each mile from their home to the clients home and back once they drop the client off.

Training Provided:

Volunteers will receive First Aid Training and an induction by going out with one of the regular drivers to see how it all works.

We also do some general office based training.
