Volunteer for Dingwall Community Fridge

Dingwall

1 hour per week at night, about 8 pm

Role Description

The Dingwall Community Fridge was set up to help reduce food waste. It is a facility for everyone. Unsold food is collected at night from Tesco, Dingwall and the two Co-ops in Dingwall and Conon Bridge. It is delivered immediately to a fridge located adjacent to Dingwall Community Centre. Here it is transferred into two large fridges. We are looking for volunteers who can drive to collect and deliver the food. Volunteers need to be physically fit and to be able to carry large, sometimes heavy, boxes. They would be expected to collect food once a week. If you are interested please send a message to our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100081847300689&sk=about. ALternatively, phone 07734 225 315.
