Retail Volunteer - Academy Street, Inverness

Exciting News! We’re opening a brand-new shop on Academy Street in Inverness this December — and we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team! Our shops play a vital role in supporting Highland Hospice, helping to fund compassionate care across the Highlands. As a retail volunteer, you’ll work alongside the Shop Manager and fellow team members to keep the shop running smoothly and raise funds through the sale of donated and new items. Volunteer Role Includes: Delivering excellent customer service Sorting, pricing, and displaying stock Operating the till and handling cash Keeping the shop clean, tidy, and welcoming Following retail and organisational policies Learning about and sharing the work of Highland Hospice What We’re Looking For: Honesty Friendly and helpful attitude Reliability and good timekeeping Flexibility and willingness to adapt Great customer service skills What You’ll Gain: Valuable retail and teamwork experience for your CV A boost in confidence Opportunities to meet new people and make friends The chance to give back and make a difference
