Warehouse Assistant

Assisting with the daily tasks incurred in the warehouse. Including but not limited to; - Loading and unloading vans and lorries - Following appropriate procedures for new donations (acceptance, cleaning, distributing) - Engaging/interacting with members of the public & New Start Highland team members - Stock Rotation - Helping with start of day / end of day routines - Working in a safe manner, in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines (training provided) We are looking for volunteers who are enthusiastic to join the existing warehouse team, complimenting and contributing to the work we do. Being able to use initiative and work independently. A good attitude, strong reliability, being physically fit and capable are key characteristics to this role. Role advertised at a minimum of 4 hours per week; shift times either 0900 - 1300 or 1200 - 1600. Days available; Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri. Opportunity to volunteer in this role for 1x 4hour shift, or 2x 4hour shifts, per week depending on personal preference and availability.
