Inverness and surrounding area

9.30-4.30 Monday to Friday during easter or summer holidays

Role Description

Reach4Reality works with autistic young people and young adults involving them in a range of outdoor activities tailored to their individual needs. Activities might be short 1:1 sessions with our staff, half day/day activities during the holidays, building up to overnight stays, weekend camps and 5 day camps. We are looking for volunteers to come and help us on our half-day activities during the Easter holidays and our full day activities during the summer holidays. Volunteers do the outdoor activities (e.g. canoeing, kayaking, biking, walking) alongside the young people and our staff who run the activities, supporting the young people as required, but primarily just befriending them and helping to make sure that they have a fun and rewarding experience. No specific experience of outdoor activities required (although welcomed), just a reasonable level of fitness and a willing to give activities a try!
