Role Description

Scottish Drugs Forum (SDF) is looking for people with living or lived experience of substance use to take part in peer research. This role is all about making sure real voices are heard in research and service improvement. Volunteers help shape studies by supporting interviews, focus groups, and outreach to local services, as well as contributing to questionnaire design and data analysis. You don’t need any qualifications – just reliability, understanding, and an interest in learning. Reasonable expenses are covered, and there’s flexibility based on your availability. Training Provided:

Volunteers receive full training, regular support, and can access opportunities for personal development, including pathways into education or employment.
