Volunteer Quest is a creative pilot designed to bring young people's voices to the heart of volunteering in Sutherland and Caithness.
Through interactive workshops and open conversations, we're exploring what really matters to young people - what motivates them, what gets in the way, and how volunteering can better fit their lives, interests and ambitions. Through creative workshops and shared challenges, young people work together to 'slay the dragon' - a playful way of exploring how we can meet the growing need for volunteers in our communities.
This pilot will help shape more flexible, skills-focused opportunities while strengthening connections between young people and local organisations. The learning gathered will inform future volunteer roles, communication approaches and wider engagement across the Highlands.
Workshops are now being run in youth groups and schools and are available to book.
