Community Development Officer

The Community Development Officer will support the development and delivery of community-led regeneration activity in Invergordon.

 

Working with local residents, community organisations, businesses and public sector partners, the postholder will help coordinate delivery of the Invergordon Community Action Plan, support the preparation of a Local Place Plan, and assist in progressing priority regeneration initiatives identified by the community.

 

A key focus of the role will be strengthening collaboration between organisations, supporting project development and preparing funding applications to attract investment into the town.

 

The role will help ensure that community priorities translate into practical projects that improve community wellbeing, strengthen the local economy and support long-term resilience in Invergordon.
