Chatty Cafe Volunteer

Many people feel the need to get out and meet other people. The Chatty Café Scheme is addressing that need by creating “Chatty Tables” around the country, and for the last few weeks, people have been coming on a Tuesday morning to our Chatty Table in Café de Paulo in WASPS Creative Academy in Inverness, for a friendly chat and a drink. As they arrive, they are met by a volunteer who makes sure they feel welcome and that everything runs smoothly. We are looking for another volunteer. Our Chatty Table is proving popular and is making a real difference to people’s lives, so if you enjoy meeting people and would like to spare two and a half hours a week to help, please contact Christine at ChattyCafeInverness@gmail.com.
