June’s Pre-Loved Charity Fashion Show was full of colour, creativity and community spirit. Volunteer models took to the runway wearing outfits styled from local charity shop finds, with local designers helping to bring each look to life. The event was a brilliant way to celebrate reuse, creativity and the hidden gems found in our charity shops, while also recognising the volunteers and teams who help make these spaces so valuable to their communities.
The first spring collection of the night came from the British Red Cross, Inverness, and was styled by Carla, Ashlee and Lia who run Ashlia, and have their own shop in Dingwall. They have a shared vision for a more sustainable fashion industry and were delighted to be involved in the Fashion Show. The British Red Cross supports people through crisis, both in the UK and around the world, helping individuals and communities prepare for, respond to and recover from difficult times. Ashlia’s styling brings elegance, sustainability and occasion wear flair to the catwalk, showing how recycled fashion can feel polished, modern and full of confidence.

The second spring collection was created with Blythswood, Alness and styled by Luthien Lark. Blythswood is a faith-based charity bringing good into times of crisis and extreme poverty, through acts of kindness and immediate relief. These looks were chosen to highlight the amazing work of charity shops and the many ways they benefit our communities, while also showing that style, purpose and volunteering can go hand in hand.
