June’s Pre-Loved Charity Fashion Show was full of colour, creativity and community spirit. Volunteer models took to the runway wearing outfits styled from local charity shop finds, with local designers helping to bring each look to life. The event was a brilliant way to celebrate reuse, creativity and the hidden gems found in our charity shops, while also recognising the volunteers and teams who help make these spaces so valuable to their communities.
First in our summer showcase was Barnardos, Inverness, styled by Corey Bell. Corey is only 18 years old and runs his own company, Moonmoth designs. Corey’s signature style is rooted in loose, skater inspired silhouettes. Barnardo’s is a charity that works to help children and young people feel safer, happier, healthier and more hopeful, while campaigning for change across the UK. Corey Bell brings a fresh creative perspective to pre-loved fashion, blending relaxed silhouettes, colour and strong styling choices to create looks that feel effortless, current and wearable.

The second summer collection was created with Highland Hospice, Beauly and styled by Ashlia.Highland Hospice offers care, support and advice to people in the Highlands who are living with terminal illness, approaching the end of life, or experiencing bereavement. These summer looks celebrate compassion and creativity together, reminding us that charity shops not only offer beautiful finds, but also help support essential services in our communities.
